Everything is a GO!

We've got great news! I went to the doc yesterday and had blood work and an ultra sound done! These were the nurse's exact words "Everything is as perfect as we need it to be!" YAY! I was thrilled! To be honest I was expecting bad news just because everything has gone so steadily. So starting Sunday I will decrease my Lupron to 5 ML and start on follistim and menopur on Monday night! I am kind of scared about the stim meds because I hear that they hurt, but hopefully I can handle them!
It has been storming so bad here in Alabama the past few weeks. We are having severe weather right now as I type this! I hate bad weather... I don't mind thunderstorms or even rain, but when the wind gets up to 60 MPH and there are tornado threats.. I loose my mind! All you can think about is.. "Are the trees going to fall on my house?" "Are my dogs okay?" "Should I go somewhere safer?" I just hate it! Maybe the weather will calm down in a few weeks. We have a busy weekend ahead of us and I hope the weather cooperates!

  1. Hey there! I am also going through the IVF (as you saw on my blog) I have been where you are now (this is my second time around) If you have questions or anything please don't hesitate to talk to me! It is very daunting doing all the meds. I don't remember any of shots really hurting, so it must be not too bad! Good luck! Sounds like you are about a week ahead of me right now! When is implantation date? I am your newest follower from the finding new friends blog hop. I am one of the hosts! Stopping by to say hi! Hope to see ya on all my blogs :)

  6. Hope all goes well - I would be so scard of giving myself a shot - used to do this to my mom (different reason though - diabetes) but to have to do it to yourself (shivers). And I agree with you about torando season - last year we had one about 10 miles from our home - it was pretty awful. But enough of that - on to the frivolous, fun stuff LOL- Just stopped by to say thanks for joining my blog hop at WynnieBee Just joined you here on GFC : D Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy ❤

  14. Congrats to you. I too had IVF and I know it is not easy to follow the long process that make us sick and tired. You must be confident to follow the process correctly and your baby will born strong and healthy :) Think of baby and forget when your nurse or husband put shot for you. The pain itself will go away after few minutes.
Thank you so much for following my blog. I will visit you again. I am looking forward to have a healthy baby. Followed your blog. Take care of your health. Count your blessings that you are getting daily. You are so lucky to have a nurse near your house. Lots of love and hugs,
