Today is our very first MOMS link up and its about introducing yourself!! We (Meagan, Heather, Amanda and myself) decided that only one of us would have the linky every week. So, this week Heather is the hostess of the linky! Go Link-Up!!
Hey! My name is Jennifer! I'm married to my best friend and we have two beautiful babies.. boy/girl twins! We spent a very long time and worked very hard to have a family and we couldn’t be happier that all of our dreams have come true. We got married in November of 2008 and started trying for a family immediately. Little did we know, its not as easy as it looks. We tried for years and finally decided to go through IVF in April of 2011. By the beginning of May we found out we were pregnant and we became even more thrilled when we found out we were having twins! I have always wanted twins and always thought I would have twins; I just didn’t know we would have to go through IVF to get them. But I wouldn’t change a thing and I would do it all over again if it meant having two happy healthy babies.
Pictures tell stories better than I can…
My sweet angels were born on December 30, 2011! Jocelynn Caye was born at 12:40 p.m weighing in at 5 pounds and 15 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. Jeffrey Paul (who we call JP) was born at 12:41 weighing in at 6 pounds and 12 oz and was 19 inches long. When I heard their first cries, I felt like my heart was going to explode with happiness. I just couldn’t believe it.. I couldn’t believe that we FINALLY had the family that we have always wanted and dreamed of.The babies were so healthy! I was really scared because I knew twins were more likely to go to the NICU but the lord blessed us with two healthy babies and I thanked him every night for that.
My babies are now 4 1/2 months old!! Where does the time go>? We are at such a fun stage with lots of laughs, “talking”, rolling, and trying to sit up!
I catch myself staring at them and not being able to stop because I think back on how hard we worked for them. I am just so thankful everyday that they are in our lives and I try and take advantage of every second with them. I can already tell how fast it will go by, so being able to stay home with them is my dream come true. I love them with all of my heart and cant wait for the many experience's and adventures life will throw at us.. good or bad.
I cant wait to read all of your “introductions”!
I typed this while being very tired so sorry if it is a mess! I am a twin momma now… that means no time for spell check or grammar check…sleeping is a priority! hah!
